Time flies and before you know it your babies will have grown up and moved on to pastures new.  Before that happens I would like to help you to create unique timeless photographs of your family that you will treasure forever.  Why bother booking a Professional Photographer when you can take your own family photos?  Because it is so important for you to be included in your family images.  Your children will appreciate photos of you when they are older as much you appreciate photos of them when they are younger.  As your family portrait photographer I will provide you with a gallery of images that are a true reflection of your family as it is now.

Are you always the one taking the photos? It’s so important to have a family portrait to look back on. One where you are included and not behind the camera. It’s not just for you to look back at and remember how cute your children were when they were small. It’s also for your children to look back and remember how much they were loved when you are no longer here to tell them.

Check your diary, find a gap that’s not too busy. Contact me to book a session and I will guide you through the whole experience. Not feeling too great about yourself at the moment? You are not alone, most Mum’s feel like this! However I can assure you that in 10 years time you will most likely look back and think you looked better than you thought! Your children certainly won’t be looking at the photo saying look at the state of Mum! They will be looking at it thinking “Ah that’s my Mum, didn’t she look young then!”.

Your photo shoot will take place in the comfort of my family photography studio at North End Farm, Hare Street, near Buntingford, Hertfordshire.  The studio has been designed with your comfort in mind and there is plenty of parking available. There is also a lovely grassed area for the little ones to run off steam and a gorgeous tea room for a post shoot treat!

You might prefer a location family photo shoot, great for outdoor and active families. Please click here for further details.

The family photography session fee is £75 which includes your pre-session consultation, (either in studio or over the phone) exclusive shooting time; use of outfits, props and backdrops; full editing of images and a private studio viewing session. Payment is required to confirm your booking.

Product prices start at £245 for Wall Art and £425 for USB/Print Boxes. Most Clients choose one of my discounted Wall Art & USB collections and spend between £500 to £1,500.

Hertfordshire Family Photography Studio

As part of my booking process I will ask some questions about your family and your requirements.  Would you like a particular focus on images of the whole family as you are the one always behind the camera?  Would you prefer a session just for the children?    Do you want a mixture of both?  If your children are school age I do offer late afternoon sessions on a Thursday and occasional Saturday sessions.  These sessions are in high demand so please book early if you require your photographs for a particular date.

My family studio photography shoots are very relaxed and last about 1 hour, although this is a little flexible if we are on a roll!  I will take a few minutes at the beginning of the session to get to know everyone and get a feeling of how the session is going to flow.

What shall I wear?…

Once you have booked I will send you a style guide and I will be on hand to provide guidance on outfit choices if required. I offer guidance throughout the entire process from beginnning to end.
