Guide to Photographing your Newborn Safely at Home

So here we are, entering our second 3 week term of lockdown due to the Coronavirus Global Pandemic.  It is an unprecedented time which has an impact on us all to some extent but particularly to those on the frontline and those who have lost loved ones.  Our thoughts are with you all.

For now Sarah Cockerton Photography is closed for photo shoot but still open for enquiries.  All Clients with booked shoots have been contacted.  Photo Shoots will be rescheduled once government advises we can resume.

For most photo shoots a delay of a couple of months is inconvenient, especially if you have booked a seasonal outdoor shoot.  However it doesn’t really make too much difference with regards to age.  A couple of months here or there after the first year doesn’t make a huge difference.  For Newborn and Baby Photo Shoots though it makes a big difference!

Newborn babies change daily and after a few weeks some of those precious newborn features have already been lost.  So it is most unfortunate timing for all those parents with Newborn and Baby photo shoots booked.

But all is not lost!

I have prepared a complimentary Guide to Photographing your Newborn Safely at Home for Clients while they are waiting for their professional photo shoot.  And now I am sharing it with you too!  Everyone has access to a camera these days.  Whether its a DSLR or a Smart Phone you can capture some beautiful images of your Newborn, in your own home, in your own time.

Get your copy of the guide here and please feel free to share with any other expectant or new parents you think may benefit.

Please feel free to get in touch if you would like information about a photo shoot for your baby later in the year.

Stay Home & Stay Safe.

Sarah x
